As co-director, Andy Chen guides the practice’s architecture from concept to completion, shaping spaces that are functional, buildable, and distinct to each project’s needs. His comprehensive perspective is built on a foundation of local experience, having worked within both dedicated architecture firms and builder companies. This practical, on-site knowledge—combined with his formal studies in the UK and Australia and extensive project experience in China—allows him to expertly balance client objectives with innovative touches of light, colour, and materiality, always centering the human experience. His design sensibility is informed by the technological precision of Norman Foster and the contextual responsiveness of Renzo Piano.

As one of the two founding directors, Bella Lei oversees client interface and marketing, guiding projects from concept through construction to ensure the client’s vision is faithfully realized at every stage. Drawing on a distinctive interdisciplinary background in dance, yoga, and international Mandarin teaching, she brings a sense of rhythm, cultural fluency, and human-centered insight to the firm’s branding and communication. Bella skillfully translates these experiences into a refined understanding of brand narrative and client relationships, connecting projects, teams, and the market with elegance and strategy. Her approach is inspired by the optimistic and socially conscious vision of architect Bjarke Ingels subtly shape her holistic approach to brand identity and spatial experience.
